Wishing Stone Ceremony

The idea is that the energy, love and good wishes that your guests have for you, and your future life, will be absorbed into the stone. This ritual is a great way to involve all of your guests within your ceremony.

Before the beginning of the ceremony, stones are given to your guests for them to hold throughout the ceremony. During the ceremony the celebrant will explain the significance of the stone and will ask your guests to silently make a wish, for your future, upon the stone. The idea is that the energy, love and good wishes that your guests have for you, and your future life, will be absorbed into the stones.

The stones are then collected and placed an a decorative jar which the couple can then display within their home as a reminder of their special day.
